Home

Well, we finally got home. You can see what the house looks like from the street.
The black blob under the flag is Ryan shoveling a path for us to get into the house. I can't believe how much snow we have! We're supposed to get more. Oh Joy!

Here's a shot of Pam and Aja on Blewitt Pass (not sure I spelled that right!). Anyway, Richard was trying to be funny by running back and forth while I did it. It was a great day of sledding until I dropped into the creek boot first. Then there was the falling backward after sitting in my chair! Good times!

Stuck

Here's a truck stuck on our street. Can't believe he tried to turn the corner from Mission onto University. We all watched as he slid to a stop. You can see the guys trying to help. He was empty (no load in the back) and he had chains.

Here's some photo's of the back yard. Check out the yard stick. 18 inches and it's still snowing!~

Snow!

Ok, so the picture quality isn't that great but you can see how much it snowed! It measured 6 1/2 inches when we started. By the time we were done it mearsured 7 1/2. We'll see how much we get tonight.

Of course we wanted to "help" dad with the snow. It's our first snow at the new house and we couldn't wait to use the snowblower. We ended up breaking a sheer bolt off. Not sure how. The only thing we "almost" ran over was the newspaper we couldn't see. Oh well!

Snow!

Well, it's finally snowing. David told me he wasn't really "in" to snow this year. I asked if it was because he couldn't skateboard in it. Yep, that was part of the reason. Wait till he goes sledding with the cousins, then he'll be "in" to it again. Teenagers. Just when you think you've got one almost figured out, here comes another one!!

Yikes!

Wow! I can't believe it's been over a month since I've posted! We've been so busy...

Isn't that what everyone says? Well, it's true!

Here's a picture of Ry and I at a hockey game last year. I just found it. I love it!

Time Flies

Wow! I can't believe it's fall again! Time flies when you're raising kids. Am I right? The picture above this was taken in our own backyard. I wish I had video of the guys trying to climb the tree and get into this position. Very funny!

Ok, now that pictures are done we're back to work.

Uh, some of us are at least. Trying to get a few last rays of sun. He doesn't know I took this picture. And he doesn't know I'm putting it on here. Ha Ha!! I love that camera!

You gotta love a man who's comfortable enough to do this. You won't find me outside with my shirt hiked up gettin' some rays! That's for darn sure!

To Wenatchee~

What a view from the Eisenhard's backyard. Or is it the front? I'm not sure. Anyway, we had a great weekend. I loved just looking and smelling the sweet Cotton Woods and hearing the rushing water.

Here's another shot. I asked the boys if they would live here. David was an absolute "YES!!". Nathan was a little more reserved and after a little thought said, "Yeah, I guess it would be fun." Me? Yep, I'd love it too. I might have to kill the rooster though. I thought I had pictures of him but they didn't get taken. Too bad. He was a real looker.

School Pic's

I love school pictures. The chance to see how your kids have grown year to year. The chance to share them with family. The chance to go broke over the stupid prices! So this year I'm posting them so you can see and do with them what you want. Yes, I have one for the grandparents but that's it. Sorry! I haven't gotten Nathan's yet. It will be a few weeks.

I'm Back!

So, here's David. My football player. Doesn't he look excited? This was the day he got to wear his jersey to school because it was game day. Oh Joy! But David didn't get to play because of picture #2.
No, it wasn't broken. Just sprained. Whew! So he sat on the sidelines and supported his team.

Then comes game day the next week. Yeah! Well, David can't play again because we have had sickness wipeout the family and he was getting over a nasty cough. So, he sat on the sidelines and blah, blah, blah...

So here we are. Finally! Game #3 and David get's to play. #65 took the field and had some great blocks. He's front line. Go figure!

Eggman

We boiled some eggs the other day and one of them leaked and made a great hair piece for our "Eggman". We went crazy and drew a face on it. Life's too short to not laugh!

Is That Healthy?

So, the boys don't realize I'm putting these on the blog. This is what happens when a certain girl cousin from E-burg comes over. David wasn't happy having his picture taken but Nathan, boy after my own heart, loved it! I still can't believe how much your kids can take after 1 parent or the other, without even trying! It's just in the genes!

Football!!

Well, Nathan finally got to play a game of flag football today. His team was short 1 player so it was a forfeit but they were good sports and played a great game anyway. One of the highlights was Nathan going for a catch and falling over another player landing on his back and thumping his head. After a few good head shakes he was back in the game. Another player got elbowed in the throat and promptly lost his breakfast on the field. There was a time out called after that. Poor kid was dry heaving for a minute or so. Poor thing!

That's Nathan closest to the camera

Anyway, it was a great time had by all. Tune in Friday for highlights of David's first game which is on Thursday the 18th.

City Life

I love being so close to town! We just hop in the car and we are minutes from everything. However, that's a bad thing too. When I don't feel like cooking (which is everyday!) then I only have to drive 1 minute away and have pizza or whatever I want. Not great for the pocketbook or my waistline!

Everyone knows how to get to our house, because we live on a main street. But that's also the route that all the emergency workers use. Firetrucks, Police cars (including motorcycle) and Ambulances all take our street. Ugh! I'm getting use to it though. So are the boys. At first they would run to the window to see what was blaring the sirens. Now they'll just look up, and if they happen to catch it, great. If not, oh well.

So, I love the city. But I think I'm still a country girl at heart.

hi

Ok, Ok,....

So my sister-in-law, Delena, has bugged me for awhile to start my own blog. So here goes. It might be lame for awhile because I'm just learning how to use it. And my life is very hectic!

But I wanted a way to keep everyone informed of all the stuff going on in our lives especially now that the boys are in sports. I'll try to have pictures for everyone as well.

Thanks for tuning in!~
